As of now, PADI is the only diving organization who significantly invest in the conservation and protection of the underwater environment
Project AWARE is a non-profit project that aims to increase the awareness and sensitivity of divers to the delicate marine environment issues.
All PADI courses put an emphasize on the importance of preserving the underwater systems and will encourage you as a diver to take part in environmental conservation efforts. You are also highly invited to take part in annual international cleanup days usually conducted at the end of September of each year.
